Overview

Radiant Solutions is currently seeking a Python Programmer for our McClean, VA location.

 This position will provide support for our US Government customer, in an on-site capacity.  The Python Programmer will focus on developing and customizing geospatial applications in support of intelligence analysts. This is a dynamic role supporting a mission that changes and evolves with technology quickly and has a lot of freedom to innovate.

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Support a cutting edge team with their Geospatial applications development  
  • Contribute to new emerging methods development like Tensor Flow machine learning, Bayesian search, data science toolkits
  • Develop and customize geospatial applications in support of intelligence analysts.
  •  Improve workflows, automate processes, and build custom applications.
  • Explore new and emerging geospatial technologies.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  •  4 year degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience in the development and use of geospatial software products applied to intelligence analysis.
  • Experience using geospatial development programming languages such as Python, ArcObjects, C#, and .Net.
  • Experience using geospatial tools and applications, including ArcGIS and open source tools.
  • Self-motivated individual who enjoys challenges and learning new skills and technologies
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and find solutions
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide accurate estimates and meet deadlines.
