Radiant Solutions has an immediate opening in our McLean, VA location for a Imagery/Geospatial Analyst! We are looking for a well-rounded geospatial/GIS analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. The Geospatial Analyst will join a team of contractor and government geospatial analysts providing dynamic support through geospatial visualization, modeling and cartographic support.

We are looking for a versatile all around imagery and GIS analyst that enjoys a workspace that rewards innovation and methodology advances. This person will be in charge of a large area imagery survey, providing start to finish imagery support.  This includes the management, tasking and collection of imagery, orthorectification and preprocessing of the imagery, serving the imagery as mosaic datasets/image services, and then assisting in the exploitation of the imagery. During the months not spent supporting the survey, the imagery manager will support a dynamic team that applies new advanced methodologies to answer the intelligence community’s most pressing questions. They will assist with other ad hoc taskings ranging from supporting new geospatial modelling efforts, data formatting and manipulation, imagery exploitation, new methodology development and consulting. They will conduct multi-INT research and populate and exploit intelligence databases. Candidate will also be expected to maintain awareness of community and technology developments in the imagery and geospatial domain. They will use tools such as RemoteView, ArcGIS, Erdas IMAGINE, and ENVI to conduct their imagery and geospatial work.


Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Geography or related field
  • Experience using GIS software applications
  • Experience using major types of imagery and creating GIS datasets
  • Experience preparing imagery for exploitation, including tasking, orthorectification, and creation of web services
