Radiant Solutions has an immediate opening for a Geospatial Analyst (Journeyman) to work in our Springfield, VA location.

 

To be qualified, you must be a US Citizen and must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI US Security Clearance.

 

The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with the core mission, and will enhance their skill set by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues. Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge and experience using geospatial analytic methodologies and principles to understand intelligence issues.
  • Demonstrate understanding of GIS technology, spatial thinking, remote sensing, and intelligence issues to create information, characterize events, and discover relationships and trends.
  • Successful candidates will work closely with other analysts, government task leads and analysts, and Project Managers.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography or related field
  • Experience with geospatial software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Erdas IMAGINE, ENVI, SocetSet/SocetGXP, etc.
  • Functional knowledge of ArcGIS desktop, geodatabase structure and capabilities, projections and other GIS techniques
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling
  • Knowledge of best practices for data standards, data management, data quality
  • Collaborating effectively with regional analysts, geospatial analysts, imagery analysts, military officers, cartographers, intelligence analysts, engineers, technicians, managers, vendors, or other customers.
  • Ability to read and understand intelligence issues, military affairs, and use geospatial applications to develop products, services and reports to solve complex Intelligence problems.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Attended either the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or equivalent.
