Overview

Radiant Solutions has an immediate opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Ann Arbor, MI area location. This position will coordinate with the Facility Manager on building repair/maintenance requests, including preventative maintenance for the building.

To be qualified, you must be a US Citizen and must have eligibility to receive a security clearance.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Works with Facilities Coordinator on building repair/maintenance requests, including preventive maintenance for the building.
  • Informs Facilities Coordinator of needed repairs.
  • Completes installation, replacing and/or repair of ballast, light fixtures, light switches and electrical outlets.
  • Replaces or repairs plumbing fixtures and cleans or unclogs drain lines.
  • Performs light construction work to include building shelves, underpinning, leveling, bracing and repairing doors and hinges.
  • Performs light painting.
  • Assists in snow removal processes of the facility.
  • Keeps current inventory of maintenance equipment and building supplies.
  • Checks for safety hazards in the facility.
  • Ensures that adequate security and fire detection is installed and maintained.
  • Inspects facilities to ensure compliance with local state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
  • Responds to after hour and weekend maintenance emergencies, as part of a rotation (typically 1 week per month).
  • Acts as backup or support to other Facilities and HVAC Maintenance team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must qualify for a U.S. security clearance
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training that include electrical, plumbing and construction; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate electrical saws, drills and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license (class C).
