Radiant Solutions(formerly MDA Information Systems, LLC) is seeking a Project Manager for our Longmont, Colorado office. 


As a Project Manager, you will have the responsibility for planning and providing technical management for interrelated software and/or system development projects. This position requires a strong system and software development background and a “hands-on” approach to team leadership.

In this position, you will ensure that the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems business unit of Radiant Information Systems achieves operational and financial objectives by:


Managing ISRS projects:

  • Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, and budget. Manage execution of those plans to ensure compliance to budget, schedule and requirements.
  • Deliver quality products and services while continually assessing and managing risk.
  • Manage customer communications and expectations, with the goal of delighting our customers and ensuring Radiant is a preferred partner in their success.
  • Manage sub-contract activities; including source selection decisions, definition of work scope, identification of schedule dependencies, and technical performance and risk management.


Business Unit Growth:

  • Manage project teams to develop solutions and grow existing business by identifying and addressing unmet customer requirements for project add-on/follow-on activities
  • Manage the development of technical solutions and develop cost estimates for new business opportunities that will expand the product line
  • Manage or support proposal efforts
  • Aid in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinate preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of the ISRS Product Line:
    • Understand the market for our technologies and capabilities and the competitors in that market, especially as it pertains to our customers


Support growth and change within the business unit:

  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership
  • Support implementation and improvement of project management processes
  • Build strong, well-motivated teams


In this position, you will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of complex tasks, under the direction of a senior program manager. Creativity and latitude are encouraged!



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering (Aerospace, Computer, Electrical or Systems) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years professional experience within system engineering and/or object oriented software design and development; Experience with system design and development of large systems is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience in planning and management of a software or systems development project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing proposals for US Government contracts
  • PMP Certification is an asset
  • Experience in the Earth Observation and/or Geospatial Information domains is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance is required
