Radiant Solutions (formerly MDA Information Systems, LLC) is looking for an Information Assurance Engineer for our Longmont, CO location.

  • Build out software system on our operational and integration platform
  • Participate in security design discussions leading to detailed allocation and implementation of IA Controls
  • Update Operating systems
  • Build VMs
  • Install Databases
  • Execute system hardening activities per DISA STIG’s, including vulnerability patching (IAVA/IAVM), auditing (SCC), and scanning using DISA SCAP Compliance Checker tool
  • Provide general security engineering support to the development team
    • Support the Certification and Accreditation process for RGT System, including SCA assessment
    • Assist the AGC customer with registration of RGT in eMass and through the BidTracker proc




Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in a computer security or IT related field
  • Three years of specialized security training and performance, preferably within DIACAP and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Working knowledge of hardware platforms, software applications, and wiring standards, to include Windows server, workstation and Red Hat Linux
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, external vendors, various levels of management and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience
  • Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative and an ability to organize daily tasks with minimal supervision
  • Must be committed to results and success in accomplishing goals, as well as a fast learner with demonstrated ability to quickly learn technology and understand unique system requirements
  • Must demonstrate safe working methods and procedures
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a US security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer security certification such as Security+ or CISSP
  • Compliance with DoD 8570.01M for IAM Level II
  • Familiarity and General Knowledge of Security Regulations
  • Experience from initiation through completion of system certification and accreditation, including SCA assessment
