Overview

Radiant Solutions has an immediate opening for an Agricultural Practice Lead. This position is located in our Gaithersburg, MD location with the ability to perform duties remotely. This full time position involves defining the growth strategy for Radiant Solutions’ agriculture line of business.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the development of new products that meet the needs of customers in production agriculture
  • Lead the development of relationships with major industry participants
  • Hold primary responsibility in building our marketing and networking strategy for our grower-focused products to end-user farming operations as well as their up chain support services/vendors
  • Work with Radiant Solutions’ business leads to build a strategy to grow the company’s presence across the agriculture industry
  • Guide a product development team in the creation of innovative services that integrate satellite imagery, weather, and other sources of data and intelligence for the monitoring of global and local agriculture

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience and relationships in the agriculture sector, including growers, retailer, input suppliers
  • Extensive experience and relationships with agriculture technology companies 
  • Understanding of satellite imaging technologies, and experience with real world on-farm applications of imagery
  • Understanding of weather technologies and knowledge of agricultural implementations of weather 
  • Ability to travel to grower/retailer sites to demonstrate products/services
  • Ability to effectively market and find end user prospects for the related products/services and work with the sales team to help close opportunities
